Leave to head over to Manningtree to enjoy fish'n'chip lunch at Manningtree Railway Buffet Car .It's a novel idea but the Buffet car is a fully licensed pub with real ales and they also offer a selection of other meals on their bar food menu. Savour the Victorian atmosphere in preparation for the 2nd part of the day...

Leave to head to the afternoon attraction of proper Steam Locomotives at the Colne Valley Railway, where we will be able to ride on a 662 Martello Steam Train built in 1875 by the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway and relive days gone by with afternoon tea & cakes in a fantastic setting.

There is an entrance fee to the Colne Valley Railway but they have agreed to offer us a special discounted, rate so we need to know numbers so we can get Steve to negotiate us an ever better deal.

I need to you let me know by WEDNESDAY if you are coming along for the day, if you'll want fish'n'chips at the Buffet car or will opt for their normal pub menu and if you want to go onto Colne Valley.

Held at Chatsworth House Derbyshire 11am onwards, cost £5 for TVR only parking area in front of Chatsworth House, loads of parking area this year so no cramped parking, tour of house and gardens (if required) £7.50p with production of a current TVRCC membership card, everyone welcome, none TVRs to park in public car park nearby.

This year we off to Brittany, and will be staying at the Mecure Hotel which provides secure parking, and is centrally located, just 5 minutes from the harbour and main town.

We will again be offering Dream Rides for the worthy cause, with all proceeds being donated to E.A.C.H at the end of the day. Many of the children save their pocket money, and some even take on extra chores, so they can ride in as many cars as possible so please if you're interested in giving up a few hours on a Saturday and offering the kids an alternative choice of cars for this year please let us know.

Tickets required in advance which will entitle you to a TVR discounted entrance fee of £ 5.00 per car, which includes an event programme.

Fri 25 to Sun 27 - Hot Rod Supernationals, Old Warden Park, Biggleswade
Public admission - £6 per adult, £3 per child, £15 per family ticket (2 adults + 2 children)
A celebration of American street cars, this is well worth a butchers even if you don't like the cars just for the noise!

Fri 25 to Sun 27 - Silverstone Classic
Eight decades of classic motor racing entertainment in 3 days.
On Track ; 21 races and 15 qualifying sessions over the 3-days featuring over 600 cars many driven in their day by some of the worlds greatest drivers.
Off Track ; Entertainment for everyone :  Open paddocks, see the race cars close up, talk to the drivers - Special track displays - Air displays from WWII planes to jet fighters and parachute displays - Huge festival trade fair - Live Music - Period funfair

Sat 26 & Sun 27 - Big Bad Wedge Fest
Once again the ANNUAL FREE BBWF will see the coming together of hundreds of Wedges from all around the UK & abroad within the grounds of Ettington Chase Hotel over the weekend of July 28/29.  Saturday will see the usual day of Wedge based events and Trade stands culminating in an evening of feasting & revelry in the grounds of The White Horse with Music and prize giving.  Sunday will be a rumble to Silverstone for the annual Silverstone Classic Race Meeting.

Fri 08 & Sun 10 - Griff Growl VI
Well here it is The Griff Growl VI. Now in its 6th year and as usual the organisers are hard at work making sure it is even bigger and better than previous years.
The date is booked 8th to the 10th August at Ettington Chase.

Fri 08 & Sat 09 - Tribute Concert & Flying Proms, Shuttleworth.
Join us for a stunning evening of great entertainment.
Four great tribute acts performing on the Friday night -Tina Turner - Neil Diamond - Elvis Presley - Beach Boys   Then on the Saturday the Flying Proms this is well established as one of the regions premier outdoor concerts. Now in its eleventh year, the concert is held in the beautiful and historic setting of the world famous Shuttleworth Collection of historic aeroplanes. The combination of rare and unique vintage aeroplanes flying in time to a full 50 piece orchestra is one not to be missed. The evening concludes with a spectacular firework finale. You cannot fail to be captivated by those "Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines" - join us for a truly memorable evening.

Sat 13 & Sun 14 - The Bedfordshire Steam & Country Fayre
Held in the picturesque setting of Old Warden Park, home of the world famous Shuttleworth Collection, housed in its own museum. The Bedford Steam Engine Preservation Society aims to give an insight into country life at the turn of the 20th century, when steam was in its hey day. Many working demonstrations take place wherever you may care to roam on the 400 acre site.

Yes, after last years success we are going back to Lower Wood Farm, Mautby, Caister-onSea, Norfolk for 4 days of fun and frolic. This years theme for the weekend is Ghosts, Gouls and things that go bump in the night !
